Funeral Service Event is a detailed social event mod designed to give deceased Sims a proper farewell. Unlike the previous two mods, this download adds an entirely new funeral event to the game and is an excellent option for players who don’t own the Life & Death Expansion Pack. When planning the event, you can select one or more deceased Sims, choose a host, and invite their friends and family as guests. The deceased Sims appear as ghosts during the funeral, and you can even organize services for pets. The main event goal requires the host to deliver a eulogy using the deceased Sim’s urn or tombstone. Guests can mourn, share their grief, eat together, and enjoy coffee or tea while completing smaller event goals. Everyone also changes into black clothing when the funeral begins, helping the gathering look more appropriate and respectful.
