Peaceful Mourning V2 is a grief-management mod designed to make mourning genuinely helpful for bereaved Sims. It adds the Mourn to Feel at Peace interaction to headstones, urns, photographs, paintings, mirrors, gravesites, crypts, and memorial altars. When Sims use the interaction, their Sad moodlets become shorter, and players with Life & Death also receive a reduction to the hidden Grief timer. Sims gain a temporary Fine moodlet in one of three strengths, representing the comfort and peace gained from remembering their loved one. The interaction doesn’t make Sims instantly happy or replace regular mourning, so grief still feels present and meaningful. If you have the Life & Death EP, you can also use the Overcome Grief interaction to remove a Sim’s grief trait immediately. This option works well when grief has lasted too long or when several elderly friends die around the same time. The mod supports Sims from Toddler to Elder, along with cats, dogs, and horses, making it useful for handling both human and pet loss.
