Dating apps have been around for a while, and Sims 4 has found a way to integrate online dating into the game thanks to The Sims 4 Lovestruck expansion pack. This pack allows Sims to fall in love, go on blind dates, and spark romantic connections.
Lovestruck features many exciting features to dive into, but one that stands out is Cupid’s Corner Dating App. Sims can use Cupid’s Corner App to set up a blind date, find a romantic partner, and interact with other sims they find attractive. This guide teaches you how to use the Sims 4 Cupid’s Corner and how to find the perfect match.
Getting Started with Cupid’s Corner
You must be a young adult or older to use and access the dating app. To get started, click your Sim’s phone icon on the hotbar at the bottom-left and select the pink Cupid’s Corner app symbol. You can also use a computer to access Cupid’s Corner. Then, select “Open Cupid’s Corner” to gain access to the following:

How to Create A Profile on Cupid’s Corner Dating App
When you open Cupid’s Corner, you can customize your profile to suit your dating preferences and interests. You can add a profile picture, set your sexual orientation, choose the preferred age range, and set your sims dating interests.
To create a profile, select the My Bio tab and add a selfie by clicking the camera icon. The camera icon allows you to add filters, enable flash, and change your pose. Alternatively, you can enable gallery Sims, and choose a selfie from your existing portfolio.
Next, Set your Sim’s sexual orientation, which will be displayed and match what was selected in Create-a-Sim. Choose two traits of your Sims to display on their profile. Consider picking your best two traits to find better sim matches.
The Matches tab is where potential matches appear. You can swipe to view the dating profiles of seven Sims. You’ll see their profile picture, age, the World they live in, two Traits, and their name. If you’re interested in dating a Sim, click the heart icon at the bottom. This saves the match, moving them to your saved matches.
The Saved Matches tab is where you exchange contact information and set up dates. You can also remove Sims from the Saved tab if you’re no longer interested in them. Just click the trash icon, and they’ll be removed from your profile. Note that you can save up to 15 profiles in Cupid’s Corner and interact with three matches a day.
Mastering Cupid’s Corner in the Sims
Like in real life, finding a romantic partner in Cupid’s Corner app can be challenging. Some players have allegedly found catfishes on the app, even though Sims 4 claims it’s impossible. To increase your chances of finding a perfect match, follow these tips:
Personalize Your Cupid’s Corner Profile As Much As Possible
Customize your Sim’s romantic preferences in Create-a-Sim to find nearly perfect matches. Start by adjusting your Sim’s Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, and Romantic Boundaries. Personalize what your Sim finds attractive in the Likes & Dislikes menu. Then, Edit your Sim’s preferred age range and traits in the My Bio page.
Set Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs
It’s advisable to set Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs for your Sim so you can weed out weaker matches in your saved tab. When this is turned on, you see whether your Sim is turned on or off by the other Sim’s traits.
For instance, if you’re turned off by the High Maintenance trait, you won’t match with Sims possessing the trait. If it’s a turn on, you can add the sim to your saved profiles.
Go On Dates
You’ll never know if you have a romantic connection with another sim unless you date. Use the Cupid’s Corner dating app to create dates and go on as many dates as you wish. You can create friendly and romantic connections or even find flings if that’s what you’re into.
To date another Sim, browse through the potential matches, save up to 7 matches, and “Ask to Create Date.” If the date goes well, you can “Ask to Extend Date” to spend more time with your new connection.
Advanced Features and Options
Cupid’s Corner has plenty of other features and options for sparking romantic connections. These include:
Go on a Blind Date: Let the app choose a partner for you and see what love story builds up. A Blind Date can add flair and excitement to your life.
Go to Cupid’s Counseling: After you find a partner, visit a counselor to help you navigate challenges within the relationship.
Deactivate Cupid’s Corner: If you’ve already found a special Sim or are no longer interested in dating, you can erase your Cupid’s Corner app. You can activate Cupid’s Corner when you want to date again.
Cupid’s Dating Guide: This introduces you to the app and gives you a unique insight on how to set up your Cupid’s Corner profile.
Sims 4 Lovestruck Cupid’s Corner Mods
To make the dating experience more exciting and thrilling in Cupid’s Corner, use mods. These lift some of the limits in Sims 4, allowing you to date up to 20 partners a day (the normal setting is currently 3). Here’s a list of some popular mods in Sims 4 that can elevate your dating and relationship experience:
Cupid’s Corner Tweaks: This mode makes several changes to Cupid’s Corner, including the number of refreshes and how many sims you can contact a day.
Lovestruck: Teens’ Cupid’s Corner: Since Sims 4 Lovestruck limits users to Young Adults or older, you can use this mod if your Sim is a teen. You’ll connect with fellow teenagers to make friends or find love and build a relationship.
At the time of writing, there aren’t many mods, as Sims 4 Lovestruck is still fairly new. However, we will update this list as more mods become available.
Once you’ve set everything up, start dating. You never know, you may fall in love with another sim, form a beautiful relationship, get married, and have kids. Good luck!
