The Cancel Culture Mod introduces a satirical take on online activism and social justice dynamics within the game. The mod basically allows your Sim to take on the role of a Performance Activist who harasses other people online while boasting about their moral superiority. You’ll engage in exaggerated forms of activism to gain followers, popularity, and reputation. First, you must create a Social Network profile to access a new “Performative Activism” skill. As this skill levels up, your Sim will unlock a range of interactions that parody various online social justice behaviors, such as publicly calling out others and boasting about moral superiority. These actions can increase your Sim’s followers, fame, and reputation. To spice up your online persona, your Sim can cancel other Sims online and in person. This action can lead to the targeted Sim losing fame and reputation, especially if they’re celebrities.
