Double bun hairstyles look extremely good on female Sims, and my go-to is this Hattie Hairstyle by LeahLillith. The adorable space buns come in two versions: one with soft, wispy strands in the front for a messy-but-cute look, and one without for a sleek appearance. You’ll also find three swatch options for the hair – a maxis match palette and two recolor options found in the face paint section. The two recolor options allow you to add contrast and style to the space buns, creating a fun and playful look.
Follow these steps to install Hattie Hairstyle on your Sims 4 game:
Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.
Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.
Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.
Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
Important: Always back up your save files before installing new mods. After Sims 4 updates, mods may need to be re-downloaded or updated by the creator.
