This mod adds acne gameplay for Simmers who don’t own the High School Years expansion pack. This way, your teens (and occasionally adults) deal with pesky breakouts! It starts when your Sim notices something unusual while brushing their teeth in the morning: pimples! Teenagers are the most likely to get acne, but on rare occasions, adults might too. When a breakout occurs, Sims receive a hidden moodlet that lasts up to 24 hours. Luckily, you can reduce this time by doing calming activities like showering or yoga. The chance of breakouts is influenced by traits, so some Sims will be more prone to acne, while others might experience severe flare-ups. Note that Sims with the Great Kisser reward trait are immune to acne altogether. If you’d like to spare a Sim from pimples, be sure to give them this reward trait. When Sims discover a breakout, they might feel embarrassed for two in-game hours, depending on their personality. But not all Sims react the same, as some shrug it off entirely.
