If you’re tired of your Sims playing the same old games, the Horror Games Override is the perfect way to inject some dark thrill into their digital downtime. This CC mod swaps out the default in-game video titles with chilling horror classics like Outlast, Resident Evil 7, Dead by Daylight, and Silent Hill 2. This gives your Sim’s gaming experience a creepy, immersive twist. You can choose the merged version with all the games or pick specific ones from the unmerged files. For more overrides like this, read our article on Sims 4 Overrides.
Follow these steps to install Horror Games Override on your Sims 4 game:
Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.
Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.
Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.
Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
