If you don’t want to go through the trouble of combining pieces from different CCs, get the Ready Or Not Bathroom set. It has everything you need to create a fully functional bathroom for your Sim. You’ll find 36 gorgeous items, including a shower bath, a toilet with a stepstool, a toilet paper holder and rolls, and a wall spotlight for lighting. These come in multiple color variations. Note that all the items are compatible with the base game except the functional laundry hamper, which requires the Laundry Day DLC.
How to Install
Follow these steps to install Ready Or Not Bathroom CC on your Sims 4 game:

Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.

Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods

Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.

Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.

Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
