The Infected is a zombie mod connected to the StrangerVille storyline. It lets your Mad Scientist research and create a Mutated Mother Plant Infection Serum using the Chemistry Lab and Bizarre Fruits. After drinking or receiving the serum, your Sim becomes sick and progresses through two stages before turning into an Infected. Infected Sims wander around, devour unattended food, frighten nearby Sims, and bite anyone who gets too close. A bite can infect the victim, trigger a fight, reveal natural immunity, or cause death. Your Scientist can also research a cure, infect entire neighborhoods, or spread the infection across the world. The optional StrangerVille override replaces possessed story Sims with dangerous infected Sims, creating a much more intense StrangerVille playthrough.
