The one reason you NEED Sims 4 City Living: apartments. Apartments were introduced in this expansion pack and are an awesome Sims 4 feature. This pack also brought with it a ton of new collectibles, diverse food options, karaoke bars, and cultural festivals. My sims don’t travel to the actual festivals that often anymore. I got pretty burnt out on them. But the flea market that happens every other Sunday is a fun activity for my frugal and family sims to do. In addition, if you happen to be looking to add new careers to your game, this is a great pack for that! You’ll get three new career paths: Critic, Politician, and social media. For the most part, there is a heavy emphasis on young adults in this expansion, but I feel like that makes sense with a city life pack.
Follow these steps to install The Sims 4 City Living on your Sims 4 game:
Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.
Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.
Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.
Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
Important: Always back up your save files before installing new mods. After Sims 4 updates, mods may need to be re-downloaded or updated by the creator.
