Off Grid Survival V2 is a simple survival mod designed for Sims living away from modern conveniences. It adds a Survivalist trait, resource gathering, hunting trips, animal traps, and a functional workbench for creating essential equipment. After assigning the Survivalist trait in Create A Sim, click your Sim to access new rabbit-hole interactions. Your Sim can gather materials, search for food, or go hunting, but success isn’t guaranteed. Some trips produce hunted meat, while others send your survivor home empty-handed. You can use Off Grid Survival V2 alongside a zombie outbreak mod to make food and resources difficult to access after society collapses. Instead of letting your survivors purchase groceries or cook freely, assign them the Survivalist trait so they rely on hunting, gathering materials, and animal traps. This creates a realistic risk-and-reward system for zombie gameplay. Your survivors may need to leave the safety of their bunker to search for supplies, then return without enough food for the household.
