Gothic Skull Vibes – The Sims 4 Loading Screen is a default replacement with a dark, grungy aesthetic. The background combines black roses, skulls, bats, skeletons, a tombstone, and other gothic imagery with a Sim illustration on the left. The darker artwork surrounds the Plumbob in the center, while your usual loading screen tips still appear across the screen. I like this option for a goth save because it changes the entire mood of the loading screen without removing the familiar Sims 4 elements. Note that the replacement was created around a 1920 × 1080 screen resolution. Installation is simple: place the package file directly into your Mods folder like regular CC.
Follow these steps to install Gothic Skull Vibes – The Sims 4 Loading Screen on your Sims 4 game:
Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.
Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.
Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.
Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
Important: Always back up your save files before installing new mods. After Sims 4 updates, mods may need to be re-downloaded or updated by the creator.
Platform
The Sims 4 (PC/Mac)
Pro tip: If a mod stops working after a game update, check the creator's page for an updated version. Broken mods can cause the game to behave unexpectedly.
