If you’re looking for a larger cottage for family gameplay, check out the Meadowbrook Cottage. This gorgeous, fully furnished two-story home comes with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a cozy countryside design with covered porches, a small balcony, plenty of greenery, and a separate garden area for growing crops. The cottage sits on a 30×30 lot in Brindleton Bay and costs §108,375. It uses no custom content, but I recommend using TwistedMexi’s Better BuildBuy and TOOL mods when placing or editing the build. I also recommend turning on the bb.moveobjects cheat before placing the cottage to keep all the landscaping, furniture, and decorative items in their intended positions.
Follow these steps to install Meadowbrook Cottage on your Sims 4 game:
Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.
Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.
Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.
Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
Important: Always back up your save files before installing new mods. After Sims 4 updates, mods may need to be re-downloaded or updated by the creator.
