This mod was released after The Sims 4 High School Years came out to expand upon the new teen content, specifically teen social life. If you’re really into family life gameplay, like me, then you need this mod. Here are some of its best features:

This is actually a much larger mod called the Education Overhaul Mod. The part that pertains to toddlers is the preschool component of the mod. If everyone in the household works and you need somewhere for your toddler sim to go during the day, you can now enroll them in The Little Darling preschool. It’s Monday-Friday from 7:30 am for 7 hours. The best part is that while they’re away, their needs will be met, they will gain skills and character values so your adult sims can feel good about leaving their toddler while they’re away at work! As I’ve said time and time again, I’m all about family life gameplay in the sims 4. This mod helps expand upon my realistic gameplay style by making school more in-depth. The Education Overhaul mod adds TONS of new features to the school system, but so you can quickly get the gist of it, here are my favorites:

The University Application Overhaul makes the university process feel more realistic. Your Sim must go through multiple steps, just like real life, to be accepted to a University. The applications require letters of recommendation from teachers, high school transcripts, essays, and sometimes admissions interviews. There’s also the option to tour Britechester or Foxbury with family members before applying, making the decision more immersive. Each request takes time to process, so your Sim won’t receive instant results. Essays can be written in parts if needed, allowing for a break. Unlike other mods, this mod transforms the university application into a meaningful challenge, adding depth to the entire Discover University experience.

I’m personally VERY excited to play through this new active freelance chef career! Your sim can work as either a freelance caterer or freelance pastry chef and choose their own hours and clients. You’ll sign up for gigs, just like other sims 4 freelance careers, and complete the tasks for the clients. This custom career comes with a whopping 50 unique freelance gigs! And works with most custom food.
