You can plant or harvest the pumpkin, which has four stages with custom meshes: If your Sim harvests their pumpkin, they get a positive buff. You can also sell the pumpkins to earn an income. I personally like this Sims 4 pumpkin cc as it offers multiple pumpkin interactions other than the usual decorative pumpkin cc.
