Sims 4 Plumbob Overrides

The plumbob is the one piece of the Sims 4 interface you see in every single frame of play, and the base game gives you exactly one: a green diamond that turns yellow or red with your Sim's mood. A plumbob override swaps that diamond for something else — a different colour, a flat 2D version, or a completely different shape floating over your active Sim's head — without touching anything else in the game.

This collection is every plumbob override in our catalog in one grid, and every one of them says plumbob in its own title. That last part is deliberate: a plumbob T-shirt or a plumbob-shaped desk ornament is merch, not a mod, and is left off. The shelf splits two ways. Shape swaps: stars, angel wings, paw prints, fish cakes and leaves, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pochacco and other Sanrio characters, and one-offs like a golden card from Sultan's Game. Recolors: white, baby pink, dark green, Valentine and fruit-themed plumbobs, plus the loading-screen plumbob recolors that creators release alongside a matching loading screen.

Two practical notes. Plumbob overrides replace the same game asset, so only one works at a time — if you install two, the one that loads last wins, and the usual symptom is the "wrong" one showing up rather than an error. And some overrides only affect the colour of the active Sim's plumbob if you change the playeractivecolor values in the [Plumbob] section of Default.ini in your Bin folder; the creator page says when that applies.
