Sims can’t drive by default in the Sims 4 base game. They simply teleport to their final destination, which removes realism from the game. Luckily, the Driving Animation Pack adds a delightful dose of realism to your Sim’s travel moments by giving them the ability to climb behind the wheel with lifelike motion. This custom animation makes your Sim physically approach and enter vehicles to bring that cinematic ‘first ride’ sequence right into your neighborhood scenes. You can use any car with this animation, but you first have to download it, as it isn’t included in the package. To see your Sim in action behind the wheel, add this cc to your Sims 4 animations folder.
Follow these steps to install Driving Animation Pack on your Sims 4 game:
Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.
Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.
Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.
Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
Important: Always back up your save files before installing new mods. After Sims 4 updates, mods may need to be re-downloaded or updated by the creator.
Platform
The Sims 4 (PC/Mac)
Pro tip: If a mod stops working after a game update, check the creator's page for an updated version. Broken mods can cause the game to behave unexpectedly.
