About This Mod

This is one of those expansion packs that sounds fun but just isn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun to explore for a day or two, but after I got over the beauty of the new world, I barely touched it again. And most of the features of this pack are tied to the Sulani world. This means that if you don’t live in Sulani, you’re never playing with anything that comes with this pack. Including the new traits that come with the pack, Child of The Islands and Child of The Ocean, if you’re not living in Sulani, those traits are utterly useless. Everything in this expansion pack is very world-specific which makes it more of a game pack than an expansion pack to me.

How to Install

Follow these steps to install The Sims 4 Island Living on your Sims 4 game:

Download the mod file from the link above. Sims 4 mods typically come as .package or .ts4script files.

Open your Sims 4 Mods folder. The default location is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods

Place the downloaded file directly into the Mods folder. You can organize mods into subfolders up to one level deep.

Launch The Sims 4 and go to Game Options > Other. Make sure "Enable Custom Content and Mods" is checked.

Restart the game if it was already running. The mod should now appear in your game.
