Facial hair is the part of a male Sim the base game does least with. There are a few beards, a couple of goatees and some stubble, all in the same handful of textures, and they sit on the face like a sticker. Beard CC is how people get a beard that looks grown rather than painted on: thicker meshes, real texture, and shapes the game never shipped.
