Here’s a list of sims 4 pregnancy cheats to give you more control over your sims’ pregnancies. Sims 4 pregnancy cheats are actually quite long and complicated cheat codes. They even require a mod to work after a game update from a few years ago. 🙄 But no worries, I’ll give you the link to the necessary mod, explain the cheats, and answer frequently asked questions to make it a breeze.
However, if it seems like too much of a hassle to type out these long cheat codes, I’m also telling you two of my favorite sims 4 pregnancy mods. These mods will give you the ability to do everything the cheats can do, plus more, but they make it WAY simpler.
If you don’t know how to use cheats in the sims 4 or have forgotten, make sure that you open up the cheat code box using CTRL + SHIFT + C and type in ‘testingcheats on’ then close the cheats console with CTRL + SHIFT + C again.
Sims 4 Pregnancy Cheats
Due to a game patch that messed with cheat codes after Seasons was released, all of these sims 4 pregnancy cheat codes require a ‘cheats fix’ mod to work. You’ll need to download that mod and put it in your game BEFORE trying to use these cheats. All of the instructions for how to do that are on the mod’s download page. I’ve playtested and confirmed that all of these pregnancy cheats for the sims 4 work in 2021 with the mod downloaded.
One last thing to keep in mind, your sim already needs to be pregnant for these cheats to work properly. These DO NOT make your sim pregnant without first trying for a baby, taking a pregnancy test, and getting the pregnancy notification. Your sim will look pregnant, but when they go to give birth, no baby will appear. Now that those things are out of the way, here are the sims 4 pregnancy cheats:

Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding sims 4 pregnancy cheats such as: how to induce labor, get a teenage sim pregnant, or get a sim pregnant without woohoo. I’ve also included some troubleshooting tips in case the cheats aren’t working for you.
How do you speed up pregnancy in Sims 4?
To speed up your sim’s pregnancy in the sims 4, you can use cheat codes to set the specific phase of their pregnancy you want them to be in. First, open up the cheat console (CTRL + SHIFT + C) then set the phase by typing:
- sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_Trimester1 for 1st trimester
- sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_Trimester2 for 2nd trimester
- sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_Trimester3 for 3rd trimester
- sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_InLabor to put your sim into labor
If the cheats aren’t working, make sure that cheats are enabled by typing testingcheats on into the cheats console.
How do you induce labor in Sims 4?
To make your pregnant sim go into labor, type the cheat code sims.add_buff buff_Pregnancy_InLabor into the cheat console. Your sim will immediately go into labor and have the baby within a few seconds. To bring up the cheat console, type CTRL + SHIFT + C. You’ll also need the cheats fix mod for this pregnancy cheat to work due to a game patch from a few years ago.
How do you get a sim pregnant without Woohoo Sims 4?
You’ll need the mc command center mod to get your sim pregnant without having them try for a baby or woohoo. Once downloaded and put into your mods folder, click on the sim you want to get pregnant then click:
- MC Command Center
- MC Pregnancy
- Pregnancy Start
- Select the sim you want them to get pregnant with
- Enter in the number of boys and/or girls you want them to have.
- Be sure to enter 0 if you want none of a certain gender because the mod it will randomize the number if left blank
How do you get a teenage sim pregnant on Sims 4?
For a teenage sim to get pregnant in the sims 4, you’ll need to download the mc command center mod. Once downloaded and put into your mods folder, click on any computer in your sims’ world and click into MC Command Center, from there you’ll go to:
- MC Pregnancy
- Pregnant Sim Selection
- Valid Pregnancy Ages
- Select Teen
Then have your teen sim try for a baby the usual way or follow the steps from the previous pregnancy question above if you want to start a pregnancy right away.
How do you force twins on sims 4?
To force your sim to have twins in the sims 4, type the cheat sims.get_sim_id_by_name {PlayedSimFirstName} {PlayedSimLastName} into the cheats console. Make sure to fill in your pregnant sim’s first and last name into the appropriate spots. This will give you a sim ID which is a long string of numbers.
Now type the cheat pregnancy.force_offspring_count {simID} {amount} into the cheats console. Fill in the Sim ID you got from the previous step and the number of babies you’d like your sim to have. For twins, type the number 2. Be sure to hit enter to enable the cheat.
You can use this same process to make your sim have up to 7 babies at a time. Depending upon the number of slots you have open in your sim’s household determines the number of babies your sim can have. The household limit for sims in sims 4 is 8.
What do I do if sims 4 pregnancy cheats aren’t working?
- If pregnancy cheats aren’t working for you, make sure that you have the ‘cheats fix’ mod downloaded. After a game patch a few years back, the pregnancy cheats no longer work without it.
- Make sure that you’re typing the cheat code in correctly including the proper spelling of your sim’s name or the correct sim ID number. I suggest copying and pasting everything that you can to elimnate errors.
- Was your sim already pregnant? Your sim has to already be pregnant for the pregnancy cheats to work. If you want to get your sim pregnant without woohooing, you’ll need the mc command center mod.
- Make sure that ‘testingcheats’ is enabled. Open up the cheat console (CTRL + SHIFT + C) and type ‘testingcheats on’ to enable cheats.
- If you’re playing sims 4 on xbox one or ps4, I don’t believe the pregnancy cheats will work for you since you’re not able to download the cheats fix mod into your game. 😔
Sims 4 Pregnancy Mods
If those cheat codes sound way too complicated, you can download pregnancy mods for the sims 4 to make things much easier. They’ll give you even more options for your sims’ pregnancies and much more control. Both of these mods are listed in my must-have mods for sims 4 post because they truly are mods I can’t live without!
1. MC Command Center by Deaderpool
MC Command Center is an essential mod for the sims 4. It has SO many features that it would require multiple blog posts just to explain them all. But to make this as concise as possible, we’ll focus on only a few features of the pregnancy portion of mc command center.
First of all, it allows you to easily do all of the sims 4 pregnancy cheats through a UI instead of having to type them in. Meaning it just takes the click of a button to start a pregnancy or put your sim into labor.
It also expands what you can do with pregnancies in the sims 4. For example, some of the things you can do are allow teenage sims to get pregnant, allow for same-sex pregnancies, and allow your sims to age while pregnant.
To access the pregnancy features of MC Command Center, you can click on any computer in your sim’s world, and after going to ‘MC Command Center’ click on ‘MC Pregnancy.’ Here you’ll find tons of ways to customize pregnancy setting for your sims, townies, and the entire game.
To access the pregnancy cheats and information for a particular sim, click on your sim, go to ‘MC Command Center’ then click on ‘MC Pregnancy.’ Here you’ll find settings and cheats for pregnancy pertaining to that sim.

2. Woohoo Wellness and Pregnancy Overhaul by Lumpinou
This is a gameplay mod that makes pregnancies more realistic in the sims 4. It really adds to sims 4 family gameplay and I absolutely love it! Just like with MC Command Center, this is a HUGE mod. It actually contains 10 different modules. These include:
- Pregnancy preferences & interactions
- Pregnancy risk & protection & fertility
- Woohoo transmittable diseases
- Paternity testing
- Teen pregnancy
- Unwanted pregnancy
- Cheating & being faithful
- Alternative pregnancy (artifical insemination & surrogacy)
- Adoption overhaul
- Co-Parenting.
Plus two optional add-ons: Termination of pregnancy and Pregnancy side-effects. And they’re still creating more add-ons that are expected to come out this year!
The creator of this mod does a great job of going into detail about each of these modules, so if you are interested in this mod you can read all about it on their website.
One of my favorite parts of this mod is that you can choose your sim’s pregnancy preferences. So if your sim is desperately hoping for a baby, you choose that as their preference and they will be overjoyed if they do become pregnant. On the other side of that, if your sim isn’t ready to start a family yet and they get pregnant, they will be upset.
Here’s another amazing part of the mod for people who are interested in teen pregnancy in sims 4. The parents of teens who get pregnant will receive a pop-up asking whether or not they support the pregnancy. Depending on if they decide to be supportive or refuse to support their child, they will have new interactions that go along with their stance.
As you can see, the detail in this mod is INCREDIBLE! You’ll get new buffs, new interactions, and new gameplay. It’s well worth checking out (especially since it’s completely free!)
