Sims 4 Career Cheats
To use sims 4 cheat codes, open up the cheat code box using CTRL + SHIFT + C and type in ‘testingcheats on’, then type in the career cheat. To close the cheats console use CTRL + SHIFT + C again.
To ensure that these career cheats work properly, make sure you have testingcheats on, you’re clicked on the sim that you want to alter, and that the cheat code is typed correctly. I suggest using copy & paste from your browser into the game to prevent any possible typos.

What is the cheat to promote your career in Sims 4?
To promote your sims using a cheat, open up the cheats console (CTRL + SHIFT + C) then enter: careers.promote {career name} For example, if you want to promote your sim in the doctor career, you’ll type careers.promote Doctor into the cheats bar.
Some of the careers use a different name for the cheat than the actual career name, so if the cheat isn’t working for you, refer to our career cheats list for the exact term the cheat uses.
How do you max out a career in Sims 4?
It’s not a simple process to a max out a career in Sims 4. You’ll need to use a series of cheats or download mods to set your sim’s career to level 10. To max out a sim’s career using cheats, type in the career cheat code careers.promote {career name} inserting your sim’s career into the career name, and keep using the cheat over and over until your sim reaches level 10.
For an easier option, download the UI Cheats Extension mod and right-click on your sim’s career in the career panel. This will bring up an info box with every level of their career and some additional options like promote, demote, or change your sim’s career altogether. Scroll down to level 10, click, and now your sim is maxed out in their career. Super simple!
What is the highest paying job in Sims 4?
The highest paying job in the sims 4 is the social media career as an internet superstar from The Sims 4 City Living Expansion Pack. At level 10 of the internet personality branch, your sim will make $540 an hour.
If you only have the base game, the highest paying career in sims 4 is tech guru career as a start-up genius. At level 10 of the start-up entreprenuer branch, your sim will make $516 an hour. This is closely followed by the triple agent in the secret agent field where your sim will make $515 an hour.
How do you unlock career CAS in Sims 4?
Unfortunately, there’s no cheat code to unlock the CAS career clothing in the sims 4. I have no idea why this is since you can cheat pretty much everything else in the game, including locked clothes from packs in create-a-sim. But that’s a rant for another day… However, you can download the Unlocked CAS Parts Mod that will unlock all locked CAS items.
What is the cheat to unlock all career items in Sims 4?
The sims 4 career objects unlock cheat is bb.showhiddenobjects then bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement. Make sure you have testingcheats on when using this cheat code.

Sometimes cheat codes can be a pain. I like to use mods to quickly and easily cheat my sim’s careers. In addition, sims 4 mods give you even more options for customizing and playing around with careers.

1. MC Command Center by Deaderpool
If there’s one mod to have for the sims 4, it’s mc command center. It has SO many features that it would require multiple blog posts just to explain them all. But for the purpose of this post, we’ll just be focusing on how you can cheat your sim’s career using mc command center.
To use mc command center sims 4 career cheats, first, click on your sim and find the ‘MC Command Center‘ option.
This will bring up the sim menu. From there click on MC Cheats.
Click on Cheat Sim Info.
Click on Career Cheats.
And finally, you’ll see the panel where you can give your sim a promotion, a demotion, reset their career, give them more or less vacation days, or quit their job.
As you can see, MC Command Center makes it super simple to cheat careers in the sims 4. Instead of having to write out long career cheats, you can simply click on your sim and give them that promotion they deserve. I highly recommend downloading MC Command Center if you haven’t already!

2. UI Cheats Extension
I’m in love with the UI Cheats Extension mod. I truly don’t know how other simmers live without it. It makes cheating your sim’s entire world much, much easier. To explain the mod in simplest terms, instead of having to type cheat codes into the cheats bar, you can visually click on things in the sims 4 UI (such as skills, needs, money, etc.) to alter them.
I’ll take you through an example of using UI cheats extension to give my sim a promotion in almost no time. First, we’ll go to our sim’s career panel. Currently, she’s a level 4 in the doctor career field. And right-click on the sim’s career.
Then a box will pop up with all of the career options for our sim’s chosen career. Notice that we can set the career to any level that we want or simply click on promote/demote. For this example, we will click on promote.
Our sim was promoted by the click of a button and is now a level 5 in the doctor career. Tell me that wasn’t the easiest cheating you’ve ever done in the sims 4?
